Camp Rudder History / Location
Camp James E. Rudder (Camp Rudder) is located on the campus of Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County, Florida. Established in 1951, Camp Rudder is an Army Ranger camp that was originally named Florida Ranger Camp. Read more about Camp Rudder>>
Camp Rudder Army Ranger Course
Camp Rudder is the location of the third and final stage of the nine-week Army Ranger Camp. Students begin the course at Fort Benning, Georgia and spend their final 18 days at Camp Rudder, where they learn jungle tactics like stream crossings.
