See below for search results for A-frame style homes for sale in Northwest Florida.

In it’s purest form, the A-frame home was popular from the 1950s to the 1970s. As time progressed, the exaggerated A-slope of the roof became moderated and often wings of rooms in the floor plan branched off the the A-frame over the main rooms. These wings often have a moderate roof angle and change the accentuated “A” to the home’s appearance. The A-frame home was particularly popular as a style choice for vacation homes.

Features of the A-frame home style include:

  • Triangular shape
  • Steeply sloping roof that extends to the ground on two sides
  • Front and rear gables
  • Deep-set eaves
  • 1½ or 2½ stories
  • Many large windows on front and rear façades
